What you will do

  • Coordinate import and export operations, shipping activities, and customer projects for high-tech research and development and technology events.
  • Design and maintain robust, scalable import workflows in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provide trade compliance expertise on U.S. Customs regulations, export controls, restricted goods, and government agency requirements.
  • Audit CBP Form 7501 entries, verify PGA submissions, identify documentation discrepancies, and coordinate Post-Summary Corrections with customs brokers.
  • Track project issues, action items, operational metrics, and SLAs while escalating risks and recommending process improvements.
  • Provide operational leadership, coordinate team workload, train team members, and support new business transitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in customs compliance operations, preferably focused on imports.
  • Knowledge of international trade, supply chain operations, General Rules of Interpretation, and U.S. Customs valuation methodology.
  • Hands-on experience with Section 301/232 duties and ADD/CVD case numbers.
  • Experience managing high-impact projects, documenting business processes, preparing business cases, and coordinating stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service, communication, negotiation, prioritization, risk management, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

  • Licensed Customs Broker certification.
  • Project management certification such as Six Sigma or PMI.
