DevSecOps Engineer

Location: On-site in Arlington, Virginia, United States. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Occasional travel of up to 10% may be required.

Salary: $97,000–$192,000 per year.

What you will do

• Maintain and operate the WDP DevSecOps factory and automated software delivery pipelines.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate build, testing, deployment, artifact management, and versioning processes.
• Implement infrastructure as code and deployment strategies such as blue-green and canary releases.
• Integrate security scanning and automated quality gates into the software lifecycle.
• Monitor pipeline health, document configurations, and improve DevSecOps practices using metrics and feedback.

Requirements

• SECRET security clearance is required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience: 0–3 years for Junior, 4–7 years for Journeyman, or 8+ years for Senior roles.
• Relevant certifications depending on level, including Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP, SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, or GFACT.
• Strong communication skills, self-starter mindset, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
