Senior DevOps / System Administrator

Location: Sterling, Virginia, United States. An active or current Top-Secret clearance with SCI access and a FS/Poly is mandatory.

Salary: $130,000–$225,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for complex software products.
• Build and support automated software delivery processes using GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.
• Automate continuous integration, deployment, scaling, and application monitoring.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate code across development, staging, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and automation issues while continuously optimizing the environment.
• Implement security best practices and applicable controls for Federal and DoD systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of DevSecOps experience and 4+ years designing, documenting, and developing CI/CD pipelines.
• 2+ years administering CI tools such as GitLab or Jenkins, including installation and developer training.
• Experience integrating SAST and DAST security scans into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Ansible or PowerShell, plus scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for on-premise and cloud environments and supporting DevSecOps platforms.
• Active or current Top-Secret clearance with SCI access and a FS/Poly is required; no exceptions. Willingness and ability to obtain Security+ is also required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Java, Python, or React.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with a Full-Scope Polygraph.
• Experience refining Agile product backlogs and working with Product Owners.
• Strong communication, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
