Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Reston, Virginia; onsite in the office at least four days per week

Salary: $125,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Own and evolve Terraform configurations for application, customer, and DevOps infrastructure.
• Manage Google Cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters, networking, IAM, and production environments.
• Design and operate multi-region deployments for reliability, performance, availability, and failover.
• Build and optimize GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows, releases, and deployment processes.
• Maintain SOC 2 and GDPR compliance through Vanta and keep the platform audit-ready.
• Improve observability, secrets management, security scanning, developer tooling, and incident response processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, platform, or security engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep hands-on experience with Terraform and production infrastructure as code.
• Strong Google Cloud or comparable cloud experience, including Kubernetes, networking, and IAM.
• Experience with multi-region deployments, availability, failover, and data locality.
• Experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions.
• Security and compliance experience covering least privilege, secrets management, supply-chain risks, SOC 2, and GDPR.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vanta, BigQuery, Dataflow, and incident.io or a similar incident management platform.
• Comfort reading and writing Go or TypeScript; the product uses Go, Vue, Nuxt, and TypeScript.
• Prior startup experience and interest in logistics, warehousing, or physical operations.
