HVAC Technician

Location: Onsite five days per week in London, Ontario, Canada

Annual base salary: CAD 59,500–122,600; compensation type: hourly.

What you will do

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems for customers across healthcare, manufacturing, education, and office environments.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to plan installations and repairs, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize onsite work.
• Serve as the direct customer contact while diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
• Use diagnostic software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to repair HVAC units.
• Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as business needs require.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain records for company-issued equipment and assets.

Requirements

• Good standing as a member of UA Local 787 and at least five years of HVAC experience.
• Red Seal in HVAC (313A) required.
• Gas 1 ticket required.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing ladders, accessing rooftops, working in confined spaces, wearing required safety equipment, and lifting more than 40 lb occasionally.
