Application Support & Training Specialist – HVAC/R

Location: Brantford, Ontario, Canada; full-time, onsite role with 30% travel across Canada and the United States

What you will do

• Provide application engineering and technical support to OEMs, wholesalers, contractors, and end users.
• Develop detailed solutions for product application, performance, troubleshooting, equipment selection, and quality issues.
• Perform and verify compressor inspections, controls, and equipment selections using hirify.global tools.
• Create and deliver annual technical training programs covering products, integration, installation, and service.
• Maintain training relevance and effectiveness through customer feedback and engagement metrics.
• Support the hirify.global Technical Specialist program and travel to customer sites, wholesalers, OEMs, and training facilities.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• At least 3 years of HVAC/R industry experience, including support for OEMs, wholesalers, contractors, and end users.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging technical training programs.
• Excellent communication, customer-service, networking, anticipation, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and travel to the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Certificate of Qualifications 313A or current enrollment in technical college toward 313A certification.
• Previous experience teaching or delivering technical training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
