Senior Process Technician - 2nd Shift (Injection Molding)

What you will do

• Set molds in presses and run production using established process documentation.
• Start up and troubleshoot injection molding processes, making basic adjustments for quality and efficiency.
• Diagnose molding machine and tooling malfunctions and communicate repair requirements.
• Identify root causes of quality issues with the quality department and implement improvements.
• Train process technician trainees and communicate operational needs to the supervisor.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow measures that prevent pollution and environmental impact.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with mold setting and injection mold processing in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting, working with plastic materials, and operating computer-controlled machines.
• Ability to read work instructions, use hand tools and precision measuring instruments, and apply mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to frequently climb ladders and lift up to 70 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Experience with Engel machines and robots.
