Sr. Lead HR Analytics Developer

Location: Scottsdale, with a hybrid work model; the role is limited to candidates eligible to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Base pay in Phoenix, AZ: $129,000–$161,000 USD per year, plus a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.

What you will do

• Analyze HR and workforce data to identify employee-lifecycle trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards, visualizations, and data models for executive decision-making.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data with SQL across multiple systems and sources.
• Translate complex datasets into clear narratives and presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Define HR metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks with HR, Finance, and business leaders.
• Improve HR data architecture, pipelines, reporting capabilities, accuracy, integrity, and governance with IT and data engineering teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive related experience.
• 7+ years of Tableau experience, including dashboard design, data modeling, and storytelling.
• 5+ years of SQL development and data wrangling experience.
• 2+ years of Workday or equivalent HCM reporting and data analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL processes, and data structures.
• Eligibility to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire; background and drug screening required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake or other modern cloud data platforms.
• HR analytics experience in workforce planning, attrition, or talent acquisition.
• Financial services industry experience.
• Familiarity with HR data governance, compliance, and privacy standards.
