Director of Product Management - Technical (AI)

Location: United States; fully remote within the United States

Base salary: $150,000–$185,000 USD per year, depending on experience, skills, and work location; equity is also included.

What you will do

• Own product strategy and roadmap based on enterprise customer needs, market signals, and organizational priorities.
• Partner with engineering and customer-facing teams to drive technical delivery, remove blockers, and take products from concept to launch.
• Prototype features and solutions with mockups, specifications, low-code tools, and working proofs of concept.
• Create product requirements, define KPIs and success metrics, and prioritize initiatives by business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
• Translate complex technical concepts and field insights into product decisions while balancing platform capabilities with customer-specific requirements.
• Build the product management function, establish effective practices, and mentor product managers.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of product management experience, including at least 5 years in technical product roles and experience owning a product area or leading a product function.
• Experience delivering enterprise software end-to-end, from concept validation through production launch.
• Strong technical fluency, including working with data and SQL and using low-code tools or light scripting for prototyping.
• Understanding of software development processes, technical architecture, product trade-offs, and enterprise product requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be based in the United States; willingness to work fully remotely within the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML, agentic AI, data products, workflow platforms, or orchestration technologies.
• Familiarity with NodeJS/TypeScript, AWS or other cloud platforms, and modern product prototyping tools.
• Knowledge of customer service, contact-center, or enterprise business-process operations.
• Experience in a 0-to-1, founder, or early-stage product environment.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 Type II or similar compliance frameworks.
