Linear Machine Operator - 2nd Shift (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Simsbury, Connecticut, United States. Full-time, onsite role on the second shift.

What you will do

• Fabricate linear energetic products using machinery, tools, engineering drawings, and manufacturing instructions.
• Operate equipment for loading, swaging, drawing, forming, extrusion, and braiding protective layers.
• Clean, measure, cut, sample, spool, coil, and pack products.
• Maintain product safety, quality, accuracy, and delivery requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least one year of applicable work experience.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions in English.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Must pass an aptitude test and a company-administered competency test.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
