Logistics Coordinator (Aerospace)

Location: Based onsite at hirify.global's global headquarters in Long Beach, California, United States

Hourly pay range: $21–$27 USD per hour

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments.
• Schedule transportation and resolve shipping or delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including ITAR and export controls.
• Improve logistics processes, track KPIs, and prepare performance reports.
• Train and support logistics staff while building relationships with vendors and evaluating their performance.
• Develop risk-management and contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least one year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, customs regulations, and required documentation.
• Knowledge of IATA and International Maritime Dangerous Goods requirements.
• Strong IT knowledge and comfort working with Windows.
• Experience with a fully integrated enterprise resource planning system.
• For U.S. office roles, candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, or eligible to obtain applicable export-control authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or heavy manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP and transportation management systems.
• Active dangerous-goods certification.
• Experience coordinating air, ocean, trucking, and parcel shipments.
• Experience in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment.
