Senior Inventory Specialist (Aerospace)

Salary: $33.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP/MRP transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
• Perform daily cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, audits, and discrepancy investigations.
• Support material kitting, allocation, line-side replenishment, and ad hoc material requests to maintain production readiness.
• Monitor material storage, identification, traceability, and shelf-life-controlled material lifecycles.
• Collaborate with Receiving, Production, Planning, Procurement, and Quality teams to resolve inventory issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and stockroom environment and train others as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing, including 2+ years in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, barcode scanning systems, and warehouse management systems.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, transaction accuracy, discrepancy analysis, and basic root-cause investigations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying refugee or asylee, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. authorizations. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment is required.

Nice to have

• BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, or a STEM field.
• SQL or advanced Excel skills.
