Inventory Specialist II (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at the facility in Cypress, California, United States. ITAR requirements apply: applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. authorizations.

Hourly range: $27.00–$32.00 USD, based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP/MRP transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
• Perform daily cycle counts, scheduled physical inventories, and reconciliation of physical inventory with system records.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, material shortages, and root causes while supporting corrective actions.
• Support material kitting, replenishment, and production-readiness activities.
• Monitor storage, identification, traceability, and shelf-life control of materials.
• Collaborate with Receiving, Production, Planning, Procurement, and Quality teams; cross-train in Shipping and Receiving duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, barcode scanning systems, and warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles, transaction accuracy, discrepancy analysis, and basic root-cause investigations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or another regulated industry, with familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.

• BA or BS degree.
