Security Specialist

Location: 626 Eagleton Down Road, Pineville, NC 28134, United States; on-site role

Pay: $35.49–$44.37 per hour

What you will do

• Lead district-level security programs and strategic security planning for assigned locations.
• Conduct security risk assessments and respond to urgent security matters.
• Lead investigations into workplace violence, security breaches, losses, fraud, and integrity concerns through interviews and evidence reviews.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and governmental regulatory agencies on investigations and compliance.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, security plans, and program metrics.
• Visit customers on-site as needed to address lost, pilfered, or damaged shipments and train business partners on security practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in corporate security, audit, military, law enforcement, transportation, supply chain loss prevention, loss analytics, or a related field.
• At least three years of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication, writing, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft-based computer programs and the ability to prepare detailed reports.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, maintain constant alertness, complete required training, and travel as necessary.
