What you will do
- Monitor and dispatch alarms from access control, CCTV, intercom, fire alarm, and building automation systems.
- Coordinate responses to emergency incidents using security technology and two-way radios.
- Handle telephone and electronic communications, process ID cards, and document operational activities.
- Patrol the Milwaukee and Franklin campuses, perform safety and security checks, and support company special events.
- Identify potential risks, respond to urgent situations, and serve as a first responder.
- Provide tactful, confidential, and customer-focused security services while contributing to continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least two years of experience in a corporate or professional environment, including performance under demanding conditions.
- Experience with video management and access control systems.
- Excellent customer service, critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays; successful completion of required testing.
Nice to have
- Associate degree or 60 credits of post-secondary education.
- Current First Aid, CPR, AED, and bloodborne pathogen training; certification is required within the first six months of employment if not already completed.
