Physical Security Specialist

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; primary office at 626 Washington Place. Frequent driving to company locations is required.

Salary: $65,546–$117,884 per year, with potential additional overtime, incentive, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Assess physical security risks at company locations and verify the operation of alarms, lighting, and video surveillance equipment.
• Manage the installation, maintenance, repair, upgrades, storage, inventory, and acquisition of burglary and fire alarms, cameras, lighting, and digital video recorders.
• Coordinate money-transfer tracking, robbery response support, security guard placement, and security training for bank personnel.
• Serve as the primary contact and vendor relationship manager for security equipment and service providers.
• Administer a physical security control or monitoring system, including access controls and employee adds, transfers, and terminations.
• Prepare incident statistics, loss data, and other reports for the Manager of Physical Security.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree and at least five years of experience.
• Former military, law enforcement, or corporate security experience.
• Knowledge of government regulations related to physical security, bank fraud, theft, misappropriation of funds, and the Bank Protection Act.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a basic level.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a car, van, or truck frequently.
