Associate Director, Physical Security

Location: Hybrid, with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site. Approved locations are in the United States, including Chicago, Appleton, Arlington, Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Bellevue, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbia, Dallas, Denver, Downers Grove, Fort Lauderdale, Hartford, Houston, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Melville, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New York, Newport Beach, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, Raleigh, Reno, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Southfield, St. Louis, Tampa, Tulsa, and Washington.

Base salary: $152,000–$228,000 per year, with placement based on skills, experience, business needs, geographic location, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Define global physical-security standards, policies, and programs across firm offices.
• Establish risk-based site-security, crisis-management, emergency-preparedness, and business-continuity expectations.
• Own access control, badging, visitor management, surveillance standards, incident response, investigations, and escalation management.
• Lead threat assessments, workplace-violence risk monitoring, travel-risk assessments, and executive security support.
• Manage guarding and security-technology providers and coordinate regional execution with Workplace Operations and Regional Managers.
• Build security metrics, reports, and dashboards while identifying automation and AI opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of corporate physical-security experience, including program leadership.
• Experience with access control, surveillance, incident response, emergency preparedness, threat assessment, and travel-risk processes.
• Strong provider-management, stakeholder-management, communication, and executive-presentation skills.
• Ability to operate across a multi-site, multi-country footprint and lead a hands-on physical-security team.

• Relevant professional certification, such as CPP.
