Collections Specialist (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in Atlanta, Georgia, United States; applicants must be located in the US and authorized to work for any US employer.

What you will do

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and monitor outstanding balances.
• Contact healthcare customers about overdue invoices while maintaining professional relationships.
• Review aging reports and prioritize collection activities to support timely payment.
• Research billing questions, payment discrepancies, and account issues with Billing, Accounting, Customer Success, and Sales.
• Document collection activity in Intacct and other business systems, assist with reconciliations, and escalate complex issues.
• Contribute to improvements in collections processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, customer service, accounts receivable, collections, or a related business function.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and build positive business relationships.
• US work authorization and US location are required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Internship or professional experience in accounts receivable or commercial collections.
• Experience with Oracle, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or another ERP platform.
• Experience supporting B2B customers in healthcare, SaaS, or professional services.
• Exposure to AI-powered productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.
