Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Reston, VA, United States; primarily based at hirify.global headquarters

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, scorecards, visualizations, and analytics tools using Power BI, Excel, and AI-based analytics.
• Integrate accounting, forecasting, business development pipeline, and HR data to deliver actionable business insights.
• Analyze trends and performance drivers to support data-informed decision-making and risk management.
• Gather business requirements from finance, HR, operations, and business development stakeholders.
• Support data integration through APIs, databases, data models, reporting datasets, and enterprise analytics frameworks.
• Partner with program managers, directors, executives, and technical teams on KPI reporting, process improvements, and end-user enablement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, business operations, or a similar role.
• At least 2 years of experience developing analytical reports with Power BI, IBM Cognos, or a similar BI platform.
• Experience analyzing financial, operational, or business performance data and presenting results clearly.
• Working knowledge of data structures, relational databases, APIs, and enterprise systems integration.
• US citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain a US Government SECRET clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience in national security or government contracting.
• Master’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Advanced Power BI data modeling, DAX, Power Query, or SQL experience.
• Experience with Python, Azure DevOps, software development workflows, executive reporting, or enterprise KPI development.
• Current US Government SECRET clearance.
