Business Analyst (IT Operations)

Location: Richmond, VA, United States. US work authorization is required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $74,320–$127,710 annually, with a 12% bonus potential.

What you will do

• Analyze IT operations workflows and identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and efficiency improvements.
• Analyze operational data, trends, KPIs, SLAs, and service performance metrics to support decision-making.
• Lead and support improvement initiatives across Service Desk, Deskside Support, Tier 2 Operations, and ITSM.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities, action tracking, operational planning, meetings, and stakeholder communications.
• Develop process maps, workflow documentation, dashboards, operational summaries, and leadership reports.
• Support operational governance, service reviews, quality assurance, risk identification, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business operations, IT operations, operational analysis, service management, project coordination, or related roles.
• Experience with operational reporting and analytics tools such as ServiceNow, Advanced Excel, Power BI Data Modeling, SQL, and DAX.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to collaborate across technical teams, operational leadership, and business stakeholders while managing multiple priorities independently.
