Analyst, Business Intelligence (SQL)

Location: New York, New York; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with senior BI team members to develop data models and reporting capabilities.
• Combine disparate data sources into reusable models for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create and maintain automated data tests to ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to add new sources to the data warehouse and data models.
• Educate internal teams on data products and support data-driven decision-making.
• Work with clients to understand their data and define meaningful KPIs for media campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, analytics, or business subject area.
• 1–3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a similar field.
• 1–2 years of experience in media, advertising, or a similar industry.
• 1–3 years of professional SQL experience.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Interest in building scalable processes, automation, and tooling, with the ability to work across business and technical contexts.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, Presto, Hive, Spark SQL, Python, Tableau, Looker, Domo, or dbt.
