Sr Analyst, Business Information (Insurance)

Location: Ohio - Grandview Heights, 1000 Yard Street, H Building; full-time office role

Salary: $62,500-$115,500 national range; expected starting range of $62,500-$93,500 per year

What you will do

• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify data and information needs supporting business decisions.
• Develop, produce, analyze, and maintain ad hoc, custom, and ongoing reports.
• Retrieve, organize, verify, and export data from internal and external sources.
• Maintain the integrity and usability of internal databases and related functional information.
• Support information projects, special reporting, research, analysis, presentations, and new technology initiatives.
• Present actionable recommendations and train users on report preparation and database access.

Requirements

• Four years of experience in business information analysis or a similar business-related analytical role.
• Working experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience building and maintaining visualizations and dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
• Undergraduate studies in business, insurance, mathematics, or a related field; an applicable degree or professional insurance coursework is preferred.
• Analytical problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, strong communication, and the ability to work under tight time constraints.
• Knowledge of business or insurance policies, procedures, product terminology, regulatory, and compliance issues is desired.

Nice to have

• Python for advanced analytics and automation.
• Snowflake cloud data warehousing experience.
• Familiarity with Dataiku.
• Insurance coursework or related professional credentials.
