Business Intelligence & Analytics Lead (AI)

Location: New York, NY; four days per week in-office

Base salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year, plus potential annual discretionary incentive compensation

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable business intelligence solutions, data models, reporting platforms, and automation capabilities.
• Define and execute the Client Solutions Group BI roadmap, including KPI frameworks, semantic models, data architecture, and self-service analytics.
• Build advanced dashboards and real-time visualizations covering investor engagement, fundraising activity, revenue growth, and business development opportunities.
• Integrate internal data, third-party datasets, and market intelligence into reusable reporting and analytics solutions.
• Identify practical applications for generative AI and AI-assisted development tools to improve reporting, research, engineering productivity, and repetitive workflows.
• Partner with Client Solutions Group, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Investment stakeholders while providing technical leadership for data governance, automation, and platform scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant overall experience, including 7+ years in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering, enterprise analytics, or data platform roles.
• Experience designing enterprise reporting platforms, data warehouses, semantic models, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Deep expertise in SQL, Power BI, Python, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, business intelligence architecture, and modern cloud data platforms; Snowflake preferred.
• Working knowledge of generative AI, AI-assisted development, and tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Hebbia, or AlphaSense.
• Understanding of private equity, alternative investments, or investor relations, with strong communication, problem-solving, project leadership, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
