Director, Platform Partnerships (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid work with at least two days per week in an assigned hirify.global office

Salary: $150,100–$225,000 annually, with potential eligibility for annual bonuses and other incentives.

What you will do

• Define and evolve the long-term strategy for enabling product distribution through third-party platforms.
• Design the platform enablement operating model, including standards, governance, KPIs, privacy, compliance, and third-party risk controls.
• Own partner-specific platform roadmaps, integration priorities, sequencing, dependencies, and investment decisions.
• Track platform performance and adoption signals, including enablement status, activation, and implementation cycles.
• Coordinate operating cadences, governance forums, working sessions, and QBR support across Solutions, Markets, Sales, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Product Marketing.
• Ensure products are implemented in production environments, supported sustainably, and adopted across partner platform ecosystems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in platform enablement, ecosystem integrations, or product operations, including partner-platform roadmaps and operating models in financial services.
• Proven people leadership experience, including developing talent and building high-performing teams through a hands-on, player-coach approach.
• Experience defining partnership strategy, establishing operating standards, and driving execution through ambiguity.
• Strong cross-functional leadership across Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Privacy, and Support without direct authority.
• Excellent organizational, communication, consultative, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred.
