Platform Management - Director (DMP - Streaming)

Salary: $143,500–$225,500 per year in targeted base pay.

What you will do

• Own the DMP Streaming platform strategy, customer-facing roadmap, and growth plans based on customer input, market conditions, and business projections.
• Partner with Engineering and Architecture on throughput, latency, durability, failover, messaging technology, and build-versus-buy decisions involving Kafka, Pulsar, and similar systems.
• Unify real-time scoring, feature computation, event orchestration, and transaction monitoring into a coherent customer product experience.
• Prioritize development across sprint and quarterly planning cycles and guide high-quality execution against uptime, latency, throughput, and customer expectations.
• Support pricing, contract terms, sales opportunities, renewals, cost efficiency, and recurring revenue growth for streaming decisioning capabilities.
• Lead market thought leadership and ecosystem communications across releases, enablement, analyst relations, publications, partners, sales, and client engagement.

Requirements

• Significant platform product management experience, including ideation, roadmap development and validation, scrum product ownership, and Agile engineering coordination.
• Deep knowledge of decisioning across banking, insurance, telecommunications, payments, and related industries.
• Experience working with streaming and event-driven architectures, pub/sub systems, batch processing, real-time transaction processing, and low-latency, high-throughput system design.
• Understanding of rules engines, machine learning models, and mathematical optimization within streaming pipelines, with the ability to translate them into customer value propositions.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving consensus in complex, matrixed, globally distributed organizations, with executive-level communication skills.
• BS degree in business, computer science, or software engineering required; an MBA or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries, especially fraud, payments, or transaction processing.
• Experience with Kafka, Pulsar, or similar messaging and streaming technologies.
• MBA or equivalent experience.
