Senior OpenRoads Designer

Salary: $83,978.91–$95,975.90 per year

What you will do

• Lead the development and coordination of 3D utility models in OpenRoads for water-wastewater projects.
• Manage complex vertical geometry, utility crossings, and conflicts with roadway and drainage elements.
• Collaborate with technical and design teams to implement and maintain BIM standards, procedures, and protocols.
• Coordinate with clients and engineers to define CAD deliverables and follow agreed-upon CAD protocols.
• Develop model-driven plan and profile sheets using OpenRoads drawing and sheet models.
• Mentor junior designers and EITs, and troubleshoot complex modeling and sheet production issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of AEC industry experience focused on MicroStation and OpenRoads utility relocation design.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work across multiple projects under aggressive timelines with minimal supervision.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and design teams.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Professional Bentley OpenRoads certifications.
• Understanding of construction scheduling and estimating.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Revit.
