Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Manager

What you will do

• Plan and manage large multidisciplinary teams and technically complex transportation projects.
• Lead roadway, highway, intersection, corridor, and multimodal municipal improvement projects from development through delivery.
• Prepare scopes of services and fee proposals, and support marketing, pursuits, presentations, and interviews.
• Coordinate engineers and designers, manage staffing and workload, and conduct design development and contract document work sessions.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, build client relationships, and support project delivery to client expectations.
• Track project financials, monitor progress, coordinate reviews, and implement QA/QC procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of task lead or project management experience on highway and local road projects.
• Experience working with State DOTs, local agencies, regional planning authorities, and municipal clients.
• Ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and technical delivery.
• Experience coordinating engineers, designers, technical directors, operations managers, and marketing managers.
• Ability to mentor transportation engineers, EITs, and designers.

Nice to have

• Experience with alternative delivery project pursuits and development.
• Experience with Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads or Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Established State DOT and local agency relationships.
