Manager - Manufacturing Operations

Location: Onsite at the Franklin, Wisconsin facility, USA

Salary: $101,500–$139,600 annual base salary

What you will do

• Oversee daily plant operations for a 300-person operations department through direct reports.
• Set production standards and manage safety, food safety, quality, staffing, operating, maintenance, and capital objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement, OPEX implementation, waste reduction, efficiency, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop manufacturing process plans covering personnel, materials, facilities, tooling, equipment, and subcontracting needs.
• Resolve operational, manufacturing, maintenance, technical, safety, and quality issues through root-cause and failure analysis.
• Coordinate with plant functions, corporate teams, suppliers, customers, and peers while communicating priorities, results, and changes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment for a small plant, or 5+ years for a medium plant.
• Experience managing daily production in compliance with safety, quality, food safety, and applicable regulations.
• Ability to develop talent, lead teams, manage change, and drive employee engagement.
• Ability to manage plant budgets, cost controls, capital plans, and operational performance metrics.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field.
• Experience implementing lean and Six Sigma programs and systems.
