Complex Manager - 2nd Shift

Location: Champaign Plant, Champaign, Illinois, United States

New hire base salary: $89,800–$112,200 per year. Eligible for a performance-based bonus.

hirify.global is a food manufacturing company producing packaged food products through large-scale plant operations.

What you will do

• Supervise production activities and coordinate operations across the assigned plant area and second shift.
• Manage multiple Production Supervisors and support employee placement, training, development, and performance management.
• Coordinate production, labor, product, raw material, packaging, sanitation, and housekeeping schedules to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and hirify.global specifications.
• Manage area budgets, productivity data, corrective actions, safety measures, quality issues, and regulatory matters.
• Partner with Product Development, Engineering, Quality, suppliers, Demand and Supply, and plant leadership on process improvement and change initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Food Technology, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory and managerial experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production lines, equipment, and food processing systems with high-speed production lines.
• Knowledge of state and federal requirements, including EEO, OSHA, FDA, and USDA regulations.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
• Full-time on-site work at the Champaign Plant is required.
