Complex Manager - 3rd Shift (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Champaign Plant, Champaign, Illinois, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

Salary: $89,800–$112,200 annual base salary, plus performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Supervise production activities and multiple Production Supervisors within the assigned plant area.
• Coordinate labor placement, training, development, production scheduling, raw materials, packaging supplies, sanitation, and housekeeping.
• Manage financial, safety, quality, regulatory, productivity, and employee-relations performance for the assigned area.
• Ensure food preparation and packaging comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and hirify.global specifications.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions, root-cause analysis, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Suppliers, Engineering, Quality, Demand and Supply, employees, vendors, and regulators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Food Technology, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory and managerial experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production lines, equipment, and food processing systems.
• Knowledge of state and federal requirements, including EEO, OSHA, FDA, and USDA regulations.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
• Ability to work full time onsite on the 3rd shift.
