Plant Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the manufacturing plant in New London, North Carolina, United States

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 USD base salary annually, plus participation in an annual bonus plan or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead the overall performance, culture, and operations of a manufacturing site with approximately 250 associates and direct responsibility for 125 associates.
• Direct production and training teams while ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals are achieved.
• Lead, coach, and develop frontline leaders through performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
• Drive lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, standardized performance metrics, and waste reduction.
• Develop manufacturing strategies and operational plans aligned with business growth and corporate objectives.
• Support new product introductions, production ramp-up, capacity planning, and cross-functional process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• At least 7 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading managers and frontline leaders in a production setting.
• Proven ability to build and sustain high-performing teams and meet production, safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing-related computer systems.
• Availability to work onsite at the New London, North Carolina manufacturing plant.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-process manufacturing operations such as PE, PVC, or extrusion.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience, including Six Sigma or Kaizen.
• Strong change management and communication skills.
