Location: Onsite in Opelika, Alabama, United States. Must be able to work the 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM shift on a 2-2-3 schedule, with 8-hour or 12-hour shifts and alternate weekend work as required.
Salary: $80,000–$133,000 national target base pay annually. For candidates in California and the New York metro area, the target range is $88,000–$146,000. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus.

What you will do
- Lead packaging operations and set standards for safety, quality, productivity, cost, reliability, schedule adherence, and attainment.
- Coordinate daily schedules and material flow with production, quality, maintenance, distribution, engineering, planning, HR, and other departments.
- Monitor shift operations, sustain process changes, and promote a first-time-right operating culture.
- Investigate nonconformance reports with Quality and drive root-cause problem-solving and CAPA development.
- Analyze raw-material usage and product yields while providing technical support for equipment and processes.
- Coach and develop a high-performing team of 15–25 employees, including support for autonomous maintenance projects.
Requirements
- Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- At least four years of manufacturing or CPG experience, including supervisory or leadership experience.
- Knowledge of SOPs and cGMPs in a CPG environment, with experience auditing cGMP, batch record accuracy, and TPM requirements.
- Experience leading and coaching autonomous maintenance projects and developing high-performing teams.
- Working knowledge of MRP, WMS, and radio frequency systems; proficiency in Word, Excel, JD Edwards MRP, and PowerPoint is preferred.
- Must be able to work onsite on the required 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM 2-2-3 schedule. Must work safely without endangering self or others.
Nice to have
- Six Sigma or Lean/continuous improvement experience.
- Experience in the specific packaging department to which the candidate applies.
- General manufacturing experience in a consumer packaged goods environment.
