Citizens Branch Manager (Retail Banking)

Location: Providence, Rhode Island, United States; branch schedule may include weekends and evenings.

Salary: $81,000–$111,000 per year, plus additional incentive earnings.

What you will do

• Lead branch performance, sales growth, colleague activities, and customer experience.
• Coach and develop colleagues to achieve individual and branch-wide performance goals.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through tailored products, services, and digital banking solutions.
• Oversee branch execution, operational integrity, financial results, and decision-making in a profit-and-loss environment.
• Develop a diverse talent pipeline and implement coaching plans that support performance and growth.
• Represent the branch in the local community and build partnerships with civic and community organizations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Leadership experience with the ability to coach teams, drive sales excellence, and deliver high-quality customer service in a high-volume branch environment.
• Four years of sales management experience in retail or branch banking.
• Demonstrated success managing sales objectives, deadlines, and branch goals in a profit-and-loss environment.
• Ability to meet all SAFE Act requirements, including background checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.
• Successful completion of required background screening, which may include credit, motor vehicle, public record, employment, and criminal checks.

Nice to have

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
