Manager Branch II (Banking)

Location: 100 Oceangate, Long Beach, California, US 90802; In Office / Sales Hybrid

Starting base salary: $87,027–$138,965 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Manage the overall success and daily operations of an assigned branch.
• Lead, coach, recruit, train, and develop branch personnel while supporting talent retention.
• Acquire new personal and small-business clients and deepen existing relationships through advice, referrals, networking, and proactive business development.
• Drive sales, deposits, fee income, lending volume, client service, and branch profitability.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies, credit standards, risk controls, and regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, and Fair Lending Practices.
• Partner with senior management, subject-matter experts, and other divisions to develop market strategy and deliver suitable client solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge, with knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• At least 5 years of branch management or supervisory experience in a branch environment.
• At least 5 years of experience in lending and business development.
• Must be registered or licensed with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, or able to register under the Safe Act and remain in good standing.
• Deep knowledge of personal and small-business banking products, financial statements, and tax returns.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, risk management, CNB policies and procedures, Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, and related tools.
