Configuration and Data Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Review system, development, and product specifications for format, content, standards alignment, and program compliance.
• Support configuration control by processing, tracking, reviewing, and maintaining change proposals, deviation and waiver requests, deficiency reports, and related engineering actions.
• Prepare for and support Configuration Control Boards, Functional Configuration Audits, Physical Configuration Audits, compliance audits, and engineering reviews.
• Maintain configuration status accounting databases, data repositories, historical records, and acquisition and contracting database applications.
• Prepare, track, and maintain Contract Data Requirements Lists, Data Item Descriptions, data management forms, and contract data deliverables for proposals, contracts, and modifications.
• Support engineering data management, deficiency report processing, Material Improvement Project reviews, data calls, and engineering drawing reviews.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field plus 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD; or a Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD.
• Alternatively, 15 years of directly related experience with the required certifications, including 8 years in the DoD.
• Experience must be in the applicable technical or professional discipline.
