Configuration & Data Manager (Defense)

Location: Onsite at WPAFB in Beavercreek, Ohio, United States. Minimal travel and standard working hours.

What you will do

• Support Configuration and Data Management activities across acquisition development, production, and sustainment phases.
• Manage configuration, engineering data, technical orders, data content, and deficiency reporting in support of Systems Engineering processes.
• Collaborate with prime contractors and provide functional guidance on C/DM methods and mission requirements.
• Maintain consistency between product performance, functional and physical attributes, requirements, design, and operational information throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage CDRL requirements and analyze the impact of configuration changes on lifecycle sustainment.
• Plan and implement Functional Configuration Audits and Physical Configuration Audits, including review of supporting data.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of Configuration and Data Management experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Strong communication, leadership, training, initiative, and process-development skills.
• Knowledge of SAE EIA-649C, EIA-649-1A, applicable military and industry standards, and DoD configuration and data management policies.
• Experience with CM/DM requirements for program plans, SOWs, PWSs, CDRLs, RFP instructions, basis-for-award sections, military standards, and change letters.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and JIRA.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a SAP environment within the last five years.
