Hardware Configuration Management and Data Management Specialist

Location: Dam Neck Base in Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States; onsite support required

What you will do

• Develop, update, and maintain engineering, technical, and configuration documentation, including change-control artifacts.
• Track and manage drawings checked in and out of technical data packages.
• Maintain complete traceability for government-approved drawings.
• Create SOPs, drawing and SCD status reports, and configuration tracking spreadsheets.
• Develop and manage configuration audit plans.
• Support the creation, tracking, and processing of SSDS SIDs, SCDs, ECPs, and Problem Reports.

Requirements

• Configuration and data management experience in a technical environment.
• At least five years of experience supporting SSDS, Navy systems, or shipboard systems.
• Experience coordinating across sites and managing complex documentation workflows.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Ability to meet all Dam Neck Base access requirements and work onsite in Virginia Beach is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Windchill for IWS electronic PLM tasking.
• Familiarity with Navy Data Environment ILS modules.
• Experience supporting NSWCDD DNA activities.
