Business Systems Analyst III (Finance)

What you will do

• Act as a liaison between Finance, Accounting, IT, Product, Development, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Lead requirements gathering, business process analysis, data mapping, documentation, and solution definition.
• Coordinate QA/UAT support, defect triage, release readiness, and go-live activities for assigned initiatives.
• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot financial applications such as Oracle, Workday, and Hyperion.
• Analyze upstream and downstream impacts across policy administration, commissions, payments, ledger, FAH, and accounting processes.
• Maintain JIRA documentation and identify process improvements using critical thinking, innovation, and AI fluency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience in Finance, Accounting, Insurance, financial systems, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP and financial software platforms such as Oracle, Workday, SAP, Hyperion, or similar systems.
• Experience with JIRA, business requirements documentation, process modeling, data mapping, QA/UAT coordination, defect management, and release readiness.
• Ability to independently analyze business problems, system mappings, data, and technical artifacts and develop recommendations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, attention to detail, and ability to influence business and technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent relevant experience.
