Business Systems Analyst

Location: Fully remote for candidates based in New York, New Jersey, California, Massachusetts, Washington, or Connecticut

hirify.global is supporting a multinational telecommunications technology company seeking a Business Systems Analyst to connect business strategy with technical execution.

What you will do

• Gather, document, and validate business requirements for new and improved systems.
• Analyze data, improve data quality, and support strategic decision-making.
• Support integrations across multiple platforms, systems, data flows, and operational processes.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions that streamline business processes.
• Facilitate collaboration among IT, Operations, business, product, technology, and vendor stakeholders.
• Create process flows, reports, and system documentation; troubleshoot defects and provide production support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of business analysis experience.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to connect requirements to customer experience, revenue, operational efficiency, risk reduction, and strategic outcomes.
• Systems thinking, technical curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-framing skills.
• Experience facilitating working sessions, managing stakeholders and competing priorities, and driving alignment across business and technology teams.
• Ability to create Jira epics, features, and user stories, support backlog grooming, and prioritize work based on value, risk, dependencies, and readiness.
• Ability to account for training, communications, reporting, support procedures, compliance, launch readiness, and post-production support.
