Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: On site in Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States

Salary: USD 135,000–155,000 per year, plus potential bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Design and develop production-grade applications and data solutions that enable AI capabilities across enterprise platforms.
• Integrate Large Language Models and vendor-provided AI technologies into scalable business applications.
• Build reliable data pipelines, cloud-native services, and operational frameworks using Google Cloud Platform.
• Contribute to deployment, monitoring, observability, testing, and performance optimization of AI solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with architects, engineers, data scientists, and business leaders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or related experience delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• 5+ years of hands-on Python development focused on applications, integrations, automation, and data processing.
• Experience designing and supporting cloud-based applications and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Cloud Run, Google Cloud Storage, and Dataflow, or comparable cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with API and cloud-service integration, data validation, monitoring, automated testing, source control, and modern software development practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating generative AI and LLMs into enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting AI-enabled products, including deployment, observability, monitoring, and operational support.
• Experience building scalable data platforms and highly reliable production systems.
• Experience in financial services, trading platforms, or highly regulated environments.
