Senior Software Engineer, Automation Engineering (AI)

Location: Fully remote from a non-hirify.global worksite, associated with New York, United States

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year, bonus eligible

What you will do

• Design and build internal AI agents and automation workflows using Snowflake Cortex, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
• Develop reusable tools, APIs, libraries, and components for agentic workflows and data collaboration platforms.
• Build evaluation harnesses, regression tests, monitoring, guardrails, and validation patterns for reliable AI-agent behavior.
• Design and maintain production-grade Python applications and services using modular architecture, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and documentation.
• Build reusable components and libraries for data clean rooms, audience onboarding, activation, campaign analysis, measurement, attribution, and incrementality.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and data platform teams while mentoring engineers through reviews and technical design discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant technical field.
• 5+ years of experience building production-grade software with Python, including libraries, services, testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Hands-on experience with LLM applications, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, or frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
• Experience designing AI-enabled workflows, reasoning agents, tool-using agents, or complex automation systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
• Strong understanding of production system design, observability, reliability, scalability, performance tuning, and operational support.

Nice to have

• Experience with data clean room platforms such as Snowflake Clean Rooms, Databricks Clean Rooms, LiveRamp, or Habu.
• Experience with ad technology, audience activation, campaign delivery, reach and frequency, attribution, incrementality, or reporting.
• Snowflake SnowPro Core, Databricks Data Engineer Associate, or similar certification.
