Loan Officer - Commission Eligible

Location: Hybrid, based out of the Fond du Lac, Wisconsin office; up to 50% remote

Base pay: $46,400–$51,500 USD annually, plus variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Originate home, recreational land, bare land, home site, hobby farm, and other rural property loans.
• Market credit products and services, develop prospects, and build referral networks with realtors, builders, financial service providers, and internal partners.
• Gather income information, verify client financials, and determine suitable loan programs and terms.
• Coordinate with credit and processing teams to obtain decisions and support timely closings.
• Maintain client relationships, address concerns, and support high client satisfaction.
• Deliver group presentations and workshops while maintaining a strong professional presence in the local community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, agriculture, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active NMLS registration is required.
• Understanding of mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CRM programs.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to travel for business, and authorization to work for any employer in the United States are required.
