Senior Analytics Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; applicants must reside and work in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, KY, MA, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, or WV. Full-time work is generally performed during standard business hours.

Starting pay range: $155,000–$170,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build, manage, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion through reporting.
• Develop production-grade data models and schemas in BigQuery using dbt.
• Configure Fivetran ingestion pipelines for operational, financial, and clinical data sources.
• Partner with clinical, operations, finance, and growth stakeholders to translate business questions into data projects.
• Design and maintain Looker/LookML semantic layers and scalable self-service reporting.
• Mentor analysts and establish practices for testing, code review, version control, data quality, and documentation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, data engineering, or related full-stack data roles.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience building scalable dbt models.
• Strong experience with BigQuery, Fivetran or similar ingestion tools, and Looker/LookML.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical execution and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data governance, Git, secure data handling, and compliant environments such as HIPAA.
• Experience supporting marketing or growth analytics, including acquisition, attribution, funnel performance, and conversion.

Nice to have

• Healthcare data analytics experience with EHRs, claims data, or clinical workflows.
• Familiarity with substance use disorder and stigmatized populations.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and analytical or technical workflows.
