Senior Data Engineer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and leverage scalable data pipelines, data models, reporting, and dashboards.
• Build data solutions for data warehouses, BI development, and data visualization.
• Analyze patterns, trends, and anomalies while optimizing data processing and storage through automation.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, solution partners, and other stakeholders to improve data quality, accessibility, and security.
• Contribute to code reviews, coding standards, workflow documentation, and best practices.
• Use AI tools and platforms to streamline workflows and support data-informed outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
• Experience with SQL Server data integration and ETL development, including SSIS or an equivalent tool.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services, preferably in GCP environments.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire.

Nice to have

• Snowflake data warehouse development and management experience.
• DBT experience with ELT/ETL processes, data modeling, testing, and documentation.
• GCP expertise with Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and DataStream.
• Experience with HVR or similar data replication and CDC technologies.
• Experience supporting Tableau or other BI/reporting environments, plus healthcare industry experience.
