Location: Hybrid role in Anoka, Minnesota, United States

Compensation: $23.90–$44.40 per hour

What you will do

• Create 3D models, drawings, bills of materials, and other documentation for new and existing products.
• Research specifications and identify purchased components for product designs.
• Manage small projects and portions of large-scale projects independently.
• Direct and support the build of components and assemblies for prototypes and pilot builds.
• Prepare engineering change order documentation and develop bills of materials.
• Perform tolerance stack analyses and calculations to verify dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree, preferably in drafting or design.
• Ideally 1–2 years of mechanical drafting or design experience.
• SolidWorks experience is required.
• Knowledge of drafting standards, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Mechanical or electrical proficiency for designing and supporting component and assembly builds.

Nice to have

• Experience with ENOVIA PLM or JD Edwards.
• Experience designing large assemblies.
• Knowledge of stainless-steel welding, sheet-metal, tubing, manifold, or plastic-part design.
