Engineer - Custom Products/Data (CAD/Manufacturing): Developing custom product configurations, 3D models, BOMs, routings, and production-ready engineering documentation with an accent on data accuracy, manufacturability, and collaboration with manufacturing teams. Focus on translating customer requirements into manufacturable designs, validating configurations on the production floor, and supporting engineering changes and production implementation.
Location: GA - Atlanta, United States; onsite work with regular visits to the manufacturing floor

What you will do
- Develop and maintain 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation for custom products.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials, routings, and product data in engineering and ERP systems.
- Translate customer and project requirements into manufacturable product configurations.
- Perform basic engineering analyses, feasibility reviews, cost inputs, and engineering change activities.
- Collaborate with engineers, production operators, and manufacturing teams to validate designs and support implementation.
- Document design assumptions, decisions, changes, and solutions to configuration or production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, industrial design engineering, or a related technical field, or an associate degree with 3+ years of applicable engineering or product configuration experience.
- Experience with 3D modeling or CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data-intensive BOM and product-structure work.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to work with plant personnel.
- Effective communication with engineers, production operators, and leadership.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering or ERP-related systems.
