Engineering Services, Mechanical Designer (SolidWorks)

Industrial coating equipment manufacturer supporting powder coating, liquid paint, adhesives, sealants, and food and beverage container production.

What you will do

• Lead and execute small engineering change management projects supporting product quality, documentation, and manufacturing needs.
• Create, maintain, and modify SolidWorks 3D models, parts, equipment, and engineering drawings.
• Support production teams by resolving standard product engineering concerns and providing technical guidance.
• Support product enhancements, commercial modeling, technical publications, and technical manual imaging and formatting.
• Collaborate with commercial, quality, marketing, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of SolidWorks experience in a product design, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with 3D modeling and creating or modifying engineering drawings.
• Experience with product design, product enhancements, and engineering change processes.
• Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GD&T methodology and ANSI requirements.
• Knowledge of REACH, RoHS, and WEEE compliance requirements.
• Experience working with SAP data.
