Assistant Operations Manager

Location: Onsite five days a week in Hodgkins, Illinois, United States; the position is associated with the Randolph fulfillment center and lists Chicago, Illinois, United States, and Hodgkins, Illinois, United States.

Salary: $75,000–$88,000 USD base salary per year, with potential discretionary bonus, incentives, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own second-shift outbound execution for dry and fresh/frozen warehouse operations.
• Drive daily throughput, quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency targets.
• Manage, schedule, assign, and coach frontline warehouse teams in a high-volume fulfillment environment.
• Implement and enforce operational, personnel, safety, security, warehousing, material-handling, and shipping procedures.
• Monitor warehouse equipment, layouts, repairs, replacements, and physical conditions.
• Prepare budgets, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions to meet financial objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of warehouse or fulfillment operations experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, including KPI and productivity tracking.
• Proficient computer skills, including Excel and reporting tools.
• Ability to work the second shift consistently and work onsite five days per week in Hodgkins, Illinois.

• Bilingual English and Spanish skills.
• Exposure to Six Sigma or Lean process improvement.
• Experience scaling a growing distribution center.
• OSHA or project management certification.
