Operations Manager (Reverse Logistics)

Location: Carneys Point, New Jersey, United States; onsite work in a returns warehouse.

Salary: $110,000–$137,000 USD base salary per year; bonus and equity may be available for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop Area Managers and their teams across warehouse returns operations.
• Oversee daily processing, inventory accuracy, customer resolution times, productivity, and quality targets.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and promote safety across all warehouse work areas.
• Review performance metrics, identify operational gaps, and implement data-driven improvements.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Safety, Facilities, Inventory Control, and site leadership on labor planning and operational priorities.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to improve turnaround times, reduce cost per unit, and eliminate waste.

Requirements

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience, including 2+ years managing salaried leaders such as Area Managers.
• Experience in warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, distribution, or a related operational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated success leading teams to achieve KPIs and operational goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk for shifts of up to 12 hours, and perform frequent physical warehouse activities.

Nice to have

• Experience with returns or reverse logistics in a high-volume environment.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience leading multiple teams and managing competing priorities under pressure.
• Background in e-commerce, apparel, retail, or high-growth warehouse operations.
