Area Manager - New Grad (Logistics)

Location: Onsite in Phillipsburg, New Jersey; permanent shifts may include overnights, holidays, and weekend overlap.

Salary: $64,800–$89,100 USD base salary per year, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Coach, manage, and develop a team of 30–100 associates.
• Communicate policies, maintain compliance, take corrective action, and support recognition programs.
• Oversee safety, OSHA compliance, building security, and product loss prevention.
• Own performance reporting for receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, and packing quality.
• Troubleshoot fulfillment problems with cross-functional partners and act as an escalation point.
• Analyze inventory gaps and defect trends, document best practices in SOPs, and help resolve systemic issues with Growth and Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed within the last 12 months or expected within the next few months.
• Demonstrated leadership experience through campus organizations, athletics, military service, internships, or part-time work.
• Strong problem-solving, computer literacy, Google Sheets/Excel, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work any permanent shift, including overnight, holiday, and weekend coverage.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand or walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Ability to work in variable noise and temperatures and on a secure mezzanine up to 40 feet high.

Nice to have

• Coursework, internships, or work experience in warehousing, fulfillment, supply chain, or logistics.
• Exposure to SQL or other reporting and data tools.
• Experience collaborating with external partners or vendors.
